Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install lancedb-embedded-vector-store

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates a LanceDB database locally, on S3 or through LanceDB Cloud, defines the tables, adds IVF_PQ or HNSW indexes and writes text or vector search. It also covers versions and rolling back to an earlier snapshot. You get a serverless vector store to integrate into your Python or TypeScript application.
