Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install langchain-typescript-local-agent

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent asks which provider and model to use, then follows the official quickstart, a weather agent built with createAgent. This quickstart requires Node 22 or later, and the setup stays limited to the minimum needed. You get an agent that runs locally.
