Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install langgraph-state-checkpointing

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks that every call passes a thread_id, keeps the state JSON-serialisable, picks the checkpointer for the environment and plans schema migration. It can rewind to an earlier state to diagnose an incident. You get a compiled graph with persistent memory.
