Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install llm-tracing-with-phoenix

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets up Phoenix locally, in a notebook or as a server, instruments your LLM calls to trace inputs, outputs and latency, then builds evaluations and experiments on datasets. You get self-hosted observability without vendor lock-in.
