Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install local-ai-harness-protection

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets up HOL Guard to protect Claude Code, Codex and other harnesses, handles approvals and receipts, and scans plugins, skills, MCP servers and packages before release. It never reads .env files, never bypasses an approval, and changes user-level configuration only through hol-guard commands.
