Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install local-mail-search-audit

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent drives the thunderbird-pp-cli binary to search your already downloaded Thunderbird messages, find emails waiting for a reply, identify your main correspondents and read a long conversation. Everything stays in local read-only access and no credentials are required. You get an overview of your mail.
