Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install macos-fn-key-emission

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks the Karabiner-Elements prerequisites, the input monitoring and accessibility permissions, then the privileged daemon on macOS Sequoia. It then guides you to emit a real Fn key, used by dictation or the emoji picker. You get a working setup and a list of approaches already tried without success.
