In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install makepad-ui-layout

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent designs or diagnoses the layout of a Makepad interface using the project's Splash DSL: sizing, margins, flow direction, spacing, padding and child alignment. It also handles clipping, scrolling and overlay issues. The examples are not compiled, so check them against the revision in use.
