Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install mapbox-to-maplibre-migration

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent swaps the package and imports, removes the access token, picks a new tile source because MapLibre does not use mapbox:// styles, and replaces Mapbox APIs such as search or directions. You get a map that runs without a Mapbox account.
