Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install matter-history-update-log

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent asks for the event type, date and summary, then adds a dated entry to the matter history and updates its log row. You get an up-to-date history, with checks on materiality and settlement authority changes.
