Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install mcp-surface-static-scan

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent calls harness mcp-scan on the harness folder, reads the server and claims files, then lists findings by severity. The analysis is static: no tool is run. With the --fail-on option, the command fails as soon as a finding reaches the threshold.
