Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install mermaid-diagram-authoring-5

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks the diagram type that fits the structure to show, starts from a provided example, then validates the source. It keeps the editable Mermaid source and produces an SVG only when the medium requires it. You get a diagram that stays editable as text.
