In a terminal, from the folder you want:
npx --yes palatekit@latest install mermaid-docs-diagram-conversionWith no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.
First time: connect the CLI with
npx --yes palatekit@latest loginThe agent decides whether a diagram should become Mermaid or stay an image, then reads the image, names the nodes and edges and writes the diagram. It checks the rendering in both themes and deletes the old asset only when nothing references it.
