Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install metabase-terminal-cli-operations

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the mb CLI to manage a Metabase instance: authentication profiles, databases and schemas, cards run as JSON, CSV or XLSX, dashboards, collections, transforms, settings and search. It loads the specialised skills bundled with the CLI when a task needs them.
