Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install micropython-device-development

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent records the board, the MicroPython revision and its system information, then uses mpremote, the REPL and frozen modules to deploy and diagnose. It notes that a CPython check does not prove behaviour on a microcontroller. You get a deployment verified on the board.
