Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install n8n-binary-files-handling

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent handles files in an n8n workflow: uploads, downloads, transforms and multimodal inputs. It applies the rules for the two slots of each item (JSON data and binary data) and the CDN requirement for chat surfaces. You get a workflow that keeps files intact from one step to the next.
