Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install neo4j-users-roles-privileges

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent writes the Cypher commands on the system database to create, alter or drop users and roles, grant, deny or revoke privileges, and inspect rights with SHOW PRIVILEGES. It notes that property-level control and ABAC require Enterprise Edition, and applies the mandatory write check before any write through MCP. You get the commands to run and how to verify them.
