Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install netlify-ai-provider-calls

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent instantiates the provider’s SDK (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or OpenRouter) with no arguments inside a function or Edge Function, and adds streaming for long generations. You get a server-side call that never exposes a key to the browser.
