Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install netlify-postgres-database-setup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs @netlify/database, writes the SQL migrations, queries the database from functions and wires up Drizzle if you use it. It also prepares local development and database branches for previews. You get a Postgres database linked to your site, with migrations applied on deploy.
