Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install netlify-serverless-functions-api

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates the function file in the right place, with a handler that takes a request and returns a response, then sets up routes, configuration and variables. It also covers background functions, scheduled jobs and streamed responses. You get a function you can test with netlify dev.
