Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install netlify-user-authentication

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent integrates @netlify/identity in the browser and in functions, verifies the user on the server, then sets up role checks and CSRF protection. You get an authentication flow to test on a deploy, because Identity does not run under netlify dev.
