Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install nextjs-authentication-patterns

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent applies the skill's patterns to configure NextAuth.js v5, protect routes with middleware and read the session on the server and the client. It also compares authentication libraries. You get a configuration base to adapt to your project.
