Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install nextjs-ux-design-rules

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent applies 34 design and UX rules ranked by priority, each with an incorrect and a correct example. It checks navigation, loading and error states, accessibility, dark mode and spacing. You get more consistent interfaces and a reasoned review of what exists.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to match the stack exactly?

The rules assume React 19, Next.js 16, Tailwind 4 and shadcn/ui. On another stack the UX principles still help but the code needs adapting.

Are the rule files translated?

Only SKILL.md is translated into French. The rule sheets in the references folder stay in English.
