Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install nothing-design-system

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent composes your screens in a precise style: three layers of hierarchy, two typefaces, spacing as a language and a single surprise per screen. It relies on tokens (dark and light colors, type scale) and component patterns. You get HTML/CSS, React/Tailwind or SwiftUI output consistent with that style.

Good fit for

  • A page or dashboard with a sober, technical look
  • A highly typographic portfolio or product page
  • Delivering one style in both dark and light mode

Not for

  • A warm, colorful or illustrated identity
  • Generic design without an explicit request for the Nothing style
  • An interface that needs shadows, gradients or rich animation

Frequently asked questions

When does the skill trigger?

Only when you mention the Nothing style or the /nothing-design command: it never applies itself.

Which fonts are needed?

Space Grotesk, Space Mono and, for large headlines, Doto, all on Google Fonts. The agent explains how to load them.
