Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install offload-media-to-r2

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks a stable object key, uploads the media to the remotion.media bucket, replaces each code reference with the public URL and verifies the object. It deletes the local copy only after checking. You get a lighter repository that points to hosted media.
