Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install on-demand-mcp-usage

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the mcp command to query an MCP server when it needs one: discovering tools, resources and prompts, then one-off calls. Nothing is preloaded into the context. You get the server's capabilities and the call results, with no permanent configuration.
