Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install openspec-change-planning-artifacts

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

This skill creates or updates an OpenSpec change's artifacts (proposal, design, specification and tasks) from the sources available: an issue, a plan, an approved design, ADRs or an existing OpenSpec. It assesses whether the scope is small enough to review, records the origin of each piece of information and flags conflicts instead of syncing silently. You get traceable OpenSpec artifacts.
