Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install openssl-sha-offload-engine

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent first checks that the device is a BlueField-2, loads the OpenSSL engine, then uses a negative SHA-224 test to prove the computation goes through the hardware. It also states the message-size range where offload beats the CPU.
