Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install opentelemetry-app-instrumentation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent configures spans, custom metrics and log export using the SDK for your language (Java, .NET, Go, browser, Next.js), favoring useful signals and placing sampling in the pipeline rather than in the SDK. It also verifies dependencies before adding them.
