Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install opentelemetry-attribute-naming

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks attributes from the official registry rather than inventing them, places each attribute at resource or span level, and avoids excessive cardinality in metrics. It also checks compatibility with convention versions. For span names, the instrumentation skill takes over.
