Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install over-engineering-complexity-audit

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent first sets the real requirement, then looks for complexity that serves the developer's ego rather than the need: needless abstractions, microservices for one endpoint, home-made frameworks. It gives a vanity score and a debt estimate, with at most seven top findings. You get a reasoned review to help decide whether to simplify.
