Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install pdf-layout-generation-check

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent generates a PDF with reportlab, extracts text with pdfplumber or pypdf, then checks the rendering visually by converting pages to images with Poppler. It notes that text extraction does not guarantee layout. You get a PDF checked page by page.
