Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install pester-version-migration

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent detects the Pester versions installed and imported, then migrates the suite one major version at a time. It moves setup into BeforeAll, replaces old mocks, converts Invoke-Pester to PesterConfiguration and fixes the v6 changes. It is especially useful when *.Tests.ps1 files broke after a version bump.
