Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install plain-prose-editor

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent applies seven tests to every sentence (mechanism, actor, one idea, decision first, and more) and relies on a catalog of 41 patterns to spot. Three modes: draft, fix only the failing sentences, or list the problems without rewriting. Numbers, names, quotes and sources are kept.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on French text?

The seven tests apply in any language, but the pattern catalog is written for English: on non-English text the agent applies the tests only.

The skill mentions ce-promote. Do I need it?

No. It is a neighbouring skill for channel-specific marketing copy; nothing here depends on it.
