Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install portaljs-dataset-registration

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent adds an entry to the portal's dataset file and picks the hosting by source: a local file goes to R2 via Git LFS, a remote URL is referenced without a copy. The catalog and the dataset page then show it automatically.
