Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install positioning-framework

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent walks you through the 5 positioning components and the 10 steps to find the context in which your product looks obvious. It helps list the real alternatives, isolate your strengths with proof, pick a style (head to head, small pond, new category) and write the sales story. You end up with a written positioning ready to share with your team.

Frequently asked questions

Are the supporting files needed?

Yes, the skill points to frameworks.md, cases.md, examples.md and integration.md. They ship with it; only SKILL.md is translated into French.

Does it suit a consumer product?

It targets B2B and technology products. For consumer products or commodity markets, brand and price weigh more.
