Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install posthog-product-analytics-setup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs PostHog in your Next.js, React, Python or Node.js applications, then defines useful events: activation, retention, drop-offs and feature usage. It keeps public keys separate from private ones. You get tracking focused on the questions you need answered.
