Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install prd-to-json-task-file

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent extracts the quality gates from the PRD, then writes a flat prd.json file with name and userStories at the root, acceptance criteria and dependencies. It avoids the incorrect schemas listed in the skill and sizes each story to stay small.
