Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install product-configurator-design

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent helps you decide whether a configurator is justified, then design the default configuration, constraints, price display, validation, save-and-share and cart handoff. You get reasoned design choices for a guided configuration that converts.

Frequently asked questions

Does it generate the configurator?

No, it is a design guide. The agent produces reasoned design choices and can then help write the code.

Are the other skills it mentions required?

No, they are optional. This one stands alone for configurator design.
