Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install project-documentation-writer

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the real code, writes or updates a document in docs/, keeps docs/index.md current and syncs the README. You get documentation that matches how the project works today, including a changelog or a module summary if you ask for one.
