Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install python-package-registry-cli

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the pypi-pp-cli command to fetch a Python package's metadata, versions, release files and vulnerability data, and browse recent updates. The skill also states when the CLI is not the right tool. You get registry data ready to read.
