Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install q-sys-equipment-specs-lookup

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the qsys-pp-cli command to answer Q-SYS equipment questions: compatible Designer versions, end-of-life status, wiring, the meaning of a fault and checks of an equipment list. A local copy serves as the reference. You get answers drawn from Q-SYS sources, offline.
