Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install qdrant-memory-footprint-reduction

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent separates resident memory from other usage, estimates RAM needs, then explains when to put the HNSW index on disk and how to shrink the footprint. You get an explanation of the consumption and a list of settings to test.
