Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install qdrant-vector-database-scaling

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent first defines the goal: data volume, query throughput or latency. It then points to the right strategy, vertical or horizontal scaling, sliding time windows, tenant isolation or sharding. It flags trade-offs, since optimizing for latency and for throughput call for opposite tuning.

What you get

  • SKILL.md: strategy choice based on the scaling goal
  • scaling-data-volume/: horizontal, vertical, sliding-window and tenant scaling
  • minimize-latency/ and scaling-qps/: tuning for latency and throughput

Good fit for

  • Your Qdrant cluster slows down as the data grows
  • You need to serve more tenants from the same database
