Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install read-only-postgres-queries

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent runs SELECT, EXPLAIN and EXPLAIN ANALYZE queries on the local database, using the default URL or DATABASE_URL. It relies on the reference schema to inspect tables and check rows. Any mutation is forbidden, and you get the query results.
