Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install redis-client-connections-and-timeouts

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent configures connection pooling or multiplexing, batches commands in pipelines, enables RESP3 client-side caching for hot keys, replaces full-keyspace commands with SCAN, and sets connect and read timeouts. You get a fast client that fails quickly during an outage.
