Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install release-notes-from-tag

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks that the previous tag exists, then collects the commits, diff statistics and changed files. It also reads the merged pull requests through the gh CLI and sorts the changes into Keep a Changelog format. You get release notes without invented links.
