Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install release-tag-and-publish-runbook

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks that the main branch is clean and up to date, suggests a version number under the repository's procedure, waits for CI, writes the notes, then publishes. It asks you to confirm the number before pushing the tag.
