Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install representation-format-yaml-serialization

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates and edits YAML files in Metabase's Representation Format, one file per entity: collections, cards, dashboards, segments, transforms and more. It follows the hierarchy and import paths, generates entity IDs and UUIDs, then validates the tree with the @metabase/representations CLI.
