Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install response-depth-token-budget

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

Before answering, the agent estimates the size of the input and output, offers four detail levels with their token cost, then answers at the level you pick. You get an answer at the length you want, without wasted tokens.
